Description:
Poly(lactide-co-glycolide)-b-poly(ethyleneglycol) methyl ether (MPEG-PLGA) is one the most commonly usedbiodegradable amphiphilic block copolymers (ABCs) for drug deliveryapplications. PEG is the hydrophilic part and PLGA is the hydrophobicpart. Amphiphilic block copolymers(AmBC) consist two chemically different homopolymer blocks. One of the block ishydrophilic and the other one is hydrophobic. These macromolecules have theproperties to self-assemble into micelles when dissolved in an aqueous media.
Handlingand Use:
MPEG-PLGA is sensitive to light and temperature. Forbest use, material should always be kept in low temperature in dry condition.
