Description:
BIOTIN-PEG-Alkyne is one of
ruixibio Click Chemistry PEG reagents that contain a terminal biotin and an alkyne
group on each PEG terminus. Alkyne group is one of most commonly used Click
Chemistry functional group that can react with azide group. Reaction between alkyne
and azide proceeds easily in aqueous solution catalyzed by cooper ions. High
yield reaction of alkyne and azide enables the conjugation of biotin tag to targeted
molecules efficiently. Biotin is a commonly used bioactive tag that can bind to
avidin or streptavidin with high affinity. Biotin/streptavidin system has been
used widely in bioassay development, protein and nucleic acid detection and
separation. Alkyne functionalized biotin PEG allows biotinylation of various
substrates with high yield. PEG linker between alkyne and biotin group offers good
water solubility, flexible spacer length and enhanced stability.
Handling
and Use:
BIOTIN-PEG-Alkyne is sensitive to light and temperature. For
best use, material should always be kept in low temperature in dry condition.
Avoid frequent thaw and freezing. For more information
