Description:
1,2-Distearoyl-sn-Glycero-3-Phosphoethanolamine(DSPE) conjugated Polyethylene Glycol, DSPE PEG is a phospholipid PEG conjugatewhich has both hydrophilicity and hydrophobility. Pegylated phospholipids areexcellent liposome formation materials that can be used for drug delivery, genetransfection and vaccine delivery as well. DSPE-PEG-N3 products can be used to prepare pegylated liposomeusing Click Chemistry. Azide reacts readily with alkyne or cycloocytne inaqueous solution with or without copper catalyst. Pegylation of phospholipidssignificantly improves the blood circulation time and stability forencapsulated drugs.
Cu-free clickchemistry with readily synthesized biarylazacyclooctynones. The reaction ofazides with strained alkynes, such as cyclooctynes, readily forms a triazoleproduct without the need for a toxic catalyst.
