Propynyl PEG4 Tetra Ac- β- D-galactose is a point and click chemical crosslinking agent, which contains propargyl group and β- D-galactose. The propargyl group can react with azide containing compounds or biological molecules through copper catalyzed azide click chemistry to produce stable triazole bonds. D-galactose increased the solubility in water and the selectivity of PEG reaction.
